Hunza Golden Peak Trek

On this trek our guests can view Rakaposhi (7788m), Diran (7327m), Golden Peak (7027m), Shishpar (7619m), Ultar (7388m), and several other peaks of the region. We travel through the valleys of Hunza and Nagar, and while trekking we pass by shepherds’ huts.

Itinerary:

Day 1	Arrive at Islamabad (hotel)
Day 2	Drive to Naran via Babusar Pass (hotel)
Day 3	Continue journey by road to Hunza Karimabad (hotel)
Day 4	Free Day at Hunza, visit Altit and Baltit forts (hotel)
Day 5	Drive by jeep to Hopar,. 2 hrs trek from Barfu glacier to Barfu Giram (camp)
Day 6	4-5 hrs trek to camp at Gutenz (4000m) (camp)
Day 7	4-5 hrs trek to Rash Lake with fine views all along the way (camp)
Day 8	Free Day for excursion to Rash Lake (camp)
Day 9	Onward about 1500m to Phai Phari with excellent view of Golden Peak. Continue a gentle climb to the summer settlements of Gutens (4-5 hrs, camp)
Day 10	Trek to Barpu Giram with view of Ultar Peak and Golden Peak (4-5 hrs, camp)
Day 11	After crossing Barpu glacier to Hopar, drive to Karimabad (hotel)
Day 12	Day free for local visits and meeting local people, Visit Altit and Baltit Fort (hotel)
Day 13	Drive to Naran via Babusar Pass (4200 m) (hotel)
Day 14	Continue drive to Islamabad (hotel)
Day 15	Day at leisure, evening fly home (end of services)
